Vineyard and vintage
A single-variety Merlot from two separate vineyards. The first is the “Milea” vineyard in Argalasti, planted in 2008 on clay soil at 300 metres. The second, “16aria”, planted in 1996, lies at 280 metres on the arid, sandy soils of Vounaina. In 2025 mild temperatures, sufficient rainfall and cool nights at both sites gave an extended ripening.
Winemaking
Made by the saignée method. The grapes from each vineyard are picked by hand at optimal ripeness, aiming for a rosé with character and structure. Each lot ferments separately in stainless steel tanks at a controlled 15°C. After fermentation the blend (cuvée) is assembled and the wine rests for 4–6 months on its fine lees, with periodic stirring (bâtonnage).
Tasting notes
Pale salmon colour. Stone fruit, berries and floral hints on the nose, while the palate is round and balanced, with crisp acidity and a long finish.
